Wanted: Senior ASP.NET Developer Seeking a Real Challenge

Sherpa! is a leading custom web development and marketing firm in Atlanta GA. We are seeking a lead Developer with solid Microsoft .NET experience to join its growing development team. This position works independently and in small groups on multiple software development projects, and will work closely with clients helping them grow their business using Internet technologies.

Almost every day you will be learning something new, advising a client on the best means of employing technology, architecting new solutions, and trouble-shooting problems. Therefore, this position is seeking someone who THRIVES in a fast past, stressful, high energy, rapid development, and constantly learning environment. This position is 85% .NET and 15% "other" web technologies. Our company specializes in using technology to help business grow, and many times this involves integrating our solutions with other environments.

Required Skills:

1. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
2. Ability to handle multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.
3. Experience in designing an application and seeing it through to completion, including requirements gathering, architecture, implementation and deployment.
4. Experience with relational database design concepts and best practices.
5. Ability to communicate with clients at all levels.
6. Ability to assess a business need or problem and come up with the best solution, often in the absence of specific technical requirements.
7. Ability to work on multiple development projects simultaneously.
8. Ability to provide reasonably accurate estimates for projects.
9. 7+ years of experience with Microsoft technologies.
10. 5+ years of experience utilizing SQL 2000/2005 systems (candidate will be able to write stored procedures, functions, create table indexes, etc.).
11. 5+ years of experience developing dynamic web sites, web enabled applications or web services.
12. 3+ years of experience using the Microsoft .NET platform to develop web-based applications or web services.
13. 3+ years of experience developing with Classic ASP, Perl, PHP, JSP or Servlets.
14. 2+ years of MS SQL Server experience.
15. 2+ years of C# Development experience.
