Atlanta Interactive Marketing Landscape Changes

The online advertising industry in Atlanta is changing at an alarming late. Atlanta-based MATCH, Inc closed after 12 years in business, as did Atlanta-based web development firm Sherpa!. Moxie Interactive was acquired by a French firm that also bought out Digitas.

So is this good or bad?

Good if you are an Atlanta interactive marketing firm looking to serve clients with online marketing budgets of less than $100k/year. The acquisitions, such as Engauge's of Atlanta web design and marketing firm Spunlogic, targeted blue-chip companies like Home Depot, Coca Cola Co., and Anheuser-Busch. If you go to the Engauge Digital site, that is pretty much all the firm seems to be discussing.

So bad if you are a firm with said budget expecting to work with a firm with said clients on their rooster. But don't worry, they were probably too busy spending money on their fancy offices anyhow.
