Finding an Atlanta Web Design Firm — Name Dropping

So you are a company seeking a web design / web development / interactive marketing / online marketing / digital marketing / new media marketing agency in Atlanta to help you (yes, those are all the various terms you will hear in your quest)? One thing you will notice is that the bigger -- and typically more expensive -- agencies will drop impressive client names (e.g. Coca Cola, Home Depot). When this occurs, ask these two questions for each client they mention.

  • What did you do for big-name-client?
  • Can you provide me contact information from someone at big-name-client?

For added affect, ask them what the client's budget was. You are completely justified in asking -- as you want to understand what you will get with an equal budget. Often they do comp work just for the client name, so wouldn't an equal budget be great?
