Sherpa! awarded ‘Most Effective Search Marketing’ from Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association (AiMA)

The results are in and Sherpa! has been awarded ‘Most Effective Search Marketing’ by the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association (AiMA) for the AiMA Awards 2008. A panel of 21 judges from across the country, distinguished interactive thinkers from businesses and higher education institutions, evaluated finalists from each of the eight interactive categories.

AiMA selected Sherpa! as a finalist due to their exceptional client work that increased one client’s online sales an estimated $1 million in 2007 alone. The surge in online sales was largely due to increasing search engine traffic over 550%.

The search engine marketing campaign consisted of both search engine optimization (SEO) and pay per click (PPC). The campaigns were equally highly effective—SEO traffic cost less than 1 cent/visitor while pay per click conversions rates were upwards of 45%.
