Professionally, David started as the self-taught senior web designer for Siemens USA. Two years later, he co-founded a web development firm as early as legally permissible and proceeded to grow it while obtaining a B.S. in Psychology, graduating magna cum laude with highest honors from the University of Georgia. That firm would go on to be recognized by its employees as one of Atlanta’s “Best Places to Work” for two consecutive years. The firm was also consecutively ranked “Top Web Design and Development Firm,” “Fastest Growing Private Company,” and an Inc. 5000 “Fastest Growing Firm.”
Over the past 15 years, David has guided the digital strategy behind notable organizations such as ADP, Spanx, Racetrac, Gables, and the National Center of Civil and Human Rights. In college, David took a break from the books — collegiate and accounting — by joining a ballroom performance group. These survival skills of the dance floor would prove critical out in the wilds of the Atlanta salsa scene, where he captured the attention of his future wife, Jessica, an attorney with the Atlanta Legal Aid Society.
As one of Atlanta’s youngest “40 under 40″ recipients, David is most interested in helping make Atlanta a world-class city for more sustainable living and a thriving education, arts, and technology community. When not tinkering with technology or musing on marketing David enjoys traveling the world and being outdoors running Ragnars and cycling around Georgia.
