What are the exact details of my data backup and restore policies?

Solution

Each Hosting and Maintenance plan includes several layers of data back-up:

• All content management systems (e.g. WordPress, Drupal) include the option for unlimited page versioning and self-managed instant restore, which is a feature native to the CMS configuration itself.

• We provide a daily snapshot backup of your website and its data going back 15 days. If you would like us to manually restore to one of these days, it will cost a flat $250 or 1-hour hourly credit.

• We archive a monthly copy of your entire website and its data in "cold storage" going back up to 3 months. If you would like us to manually restore to one of these months, it will cost a flat $500 or 2-hour hourly credit.

Troubleshooting

If your website is "acting funny" or data is missing, you may need to request a manual website restore.
